29th Annual Keena Turner Golf Tournament   

The Keena Turner Golf Tournament benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy as our largest fundraiser. This tournament supports the broad array of programs & services, serving over 3,000 children, every day at our 22 clubs.

Tournament Sponsors make all of our programs & services possible. These include: academic support, healthy lifestyles through daily sports & physical fitness, and building strong character and citizenship with guidance by trained mentors.

Over 80% of the children receiving these services come from low or below poverty level income families. A $35 yearly membership provides each child participation in afterschool programs as well as full day programs on non-school days and during the summer months.  Hot meals & healthy snacks are provided daily for all members.

Tournament Sponsors & celebrity guests give children the opportunity to: eliminate summer learning loss, maintain a productive lifestyle, participate in Robotics & STEM projects, learn to play an instrument or compose music, and achieve reading goals through our Early Literacy program.  Members also take part in community events by volunteering and enjoy real life experiences through field trips.

All proceeds benefit the life-changing programs & services at Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy.

EVENT INFORMATION

29th Annual Keena Turner Golf Tournament - June 17, 2024

Keena Turner, 4-time Super Bowl Champion, invites NFL & other sports celebrities from across the USA to join him in a day of golf, camaraderie and fundraising for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy. Many well-known sport's icons such as: Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Steve Bono, Dwight Hicks and the late Dwight Clark have joined Keena in supporting  our Clubs. Also, Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi and NBA's Gary Payton as well as current 49ers super stars like Fred Warner, Javon Kinlaw, Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and Brock Purdy have joined in the support of the tournament over the last 28 years. 

Keena's friends enjoy the day golfing with sponsors. A reception follows including a celebrity fireside chat and auction with a variety of food and beverages available.

The tournament gives club kids an opportunity to share their stories on how the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy has had a major impact on their lives, their families and the entire community.

Corporate sponsors will enjoy the day with sports celebrities. Higher level sponsors have the rare opportunity to have a celebrity join their foursome.  With over 280 guests attending, this event creates a fantastic opportunity for businesses to market their product or service to affluent clientele through Corporate, Specialty and Hole sponsorships.

100% of the net proceeds from the event benefit the life-changing programs & services provided at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy at our 22 locations serving over 3000 youth daily.
